Ribbed HDPE · Simplex & duplexPoly & Composite Basins
The basin and the station are one product here. Ribbed HDPE wet wells, cut and gasketed to your invert — and when the effluent has to be lifted, the pumps, rails, floats, valving and panel go in before it ships.
The ribs are structure, not styling
A buried basin spends its whole life resisting the soil pressing in on it. A smooth-wall cylinder resists that with thickness alone, which means weight. Ribbing puts the material where the load actually is.
The result is a basin that takes burial loading at a fraction of the weight, arrives on a pickup rather than a flatbed, and can be set by the crew already on site.
- Circumferential ribbing carries soil load without a thick wall
- Integral flange at the base resists flotation in a high water table
- Inlet penetrations cut and gasketed to your invert, not field-hacked
- Riser and lid sized to depth of cover
What they get used for
Pump chambers
The basin under a simplex or duplex lift station. Guide rails, floats and discharge piping go in before it ships.
Valve pitsBelow-grade access
Housing check and gate valves, manifolds and drip zone hardware where it all needs to stay reachable and dry-ish.
ChambersDistribution & metering
Flow splitters, sampling points and anywhere a serviceable chamber is needed between treatment and dispersal.
The station arrives as a station
A lift station is a basin, a pump, a rail system, floats, check and gate valves, and a panel that has to coordinate all of it. Sourced separately, that’s five suppliers and a day of fitting in a hole. We do it in the yard.
- Ribbed HDPE basin, corrosion-proof and rated for burial
- Pump or pumps set on guide rails with a lift-out discharge elbow
- Check valve and gate valve fitted, in a valve box or in-basin
- Floats hung and set for your on, off, and alarm elevations
- UL-listed panel by Legacy Controls, wired and function-tested
- Buoyancy checked and anti-flotation collar sized for your water table
A packaged lift station set in the excavation.
Simplex or duplex
The question is what happens when the pump stops.
Simplex
The straightforward answer for single homes, small commercial and anywhere a few hours of storage covers a service call. Lower cost, fewer parts, less to maintain. The alarm float is what buys you the time.
Two pumpsDuplex
Two pumps alternating on each cycle, so wear is shared and either one can carry the station alone. Standard where a backup is required by permit, where flows are high, or where an overflow is not survivable.
Either wayThe panel decides
Alternation, lag-pump call, high-water alarm, run indication and hand/off/auto all live in the panel. We build it for the station rather than fitting the station to a panel.
What we stock and size from
Thirty-seven effluent and sewage pumps across four manufacturers. Electrical and connection data below; head and flow selection is what the design calculator is for.

All single phase. Minimum liquid level is the submergence the pump needs to run safely and sets your off-float elevation. Full load amps drive the panel breaker and conductor sizing. Where FLA is shown as a dash we size from the manufacturer’s current data sheet at time of order.
The panel is built for the station
Every station ships with a UL-listed enclosed industrial control panel made by Legacy Controls, using certified ELKO EP and TELE components. Breakers, contactors and overloads are sized to the pump that’s actually going in the basin.
- Hand / off / auto per pump, with run indication
- Automatic alternation on duplex stations
- High-water alarm with beacon, horn and silence
- Breakers sized to pump FLA, not to a generic template
- Terminal legend printed inside the door for whoever services it next
Give us the head and the flow
Static lift, pipe run and size, daily flow, inlet invert and water table. That’s enough for a basin, a pump selection, a panel, a buoyancy check and a price.
